We Request Our Honorable Members To Provide Us Their E- Mail Address If Not Provided Already To Enable The Managing Committee For Providing Prompt And Efficient Services To Them. This Would Result In Saving Substantial Amount Of Money Being Spent On Printing And Dispatching Besides Time And Energy.
The Last Agm Was Held On 24th April, 2016 And Its Minutes Were Circulated On 26.05.2016 And The Same Has Been Uploaded On The Web Site. You May Collect The Copy Of Same Today For Kind Perusal And Ready Reference Please.
To Meet The Requirement Of Delhi Pollution Control Committee, We Have Installed Etp (Effluent Treatment Plant) At Lawn Side Near Kitchen Which Is Fully Functioning And Operative. For Getting Consent From The Dpcc (Delhi Pollution Control Committee) We Had To Pay Their Fee Of Around Rs. 13.5 Lakhs And Got The Necessary Permission. The Work In Squash Court Has Been Completed And Members Are Enjoying The Game To Their Fill.
During The Last Swimming Session, The Members Used To Complain About The Unclear Water Due To Dust And Falling Of Tree Leaves Etc In The Pool Therefore The Managing Committee As A Priority Measure Decided To Cover It With A Shed And Now The Shed Is Ready Which Is Visible To All Of Us. Members Appreciated The Managing Committee For Timely Action For Completing The Shed Work Before Season.
It Is Gratifying And Matter Of Pride That Our Members Are Regularly Enjoying Gym And Sauna And Steam Bath.
There Is Separate Sauna And Steam Bath For Ladies Where Wash Rooms Are Provided With Shower And Cold And Hot Water Facility.
You Will Endorse The Fact That Our Bars Are Mostly Over Packed Where Members Enjoy Their Drinks And Meals. Our Both Restaurants Are Also Jam Packed Especially On Week-Ends.
The Ladies Usually Organize Their Kitty Parties Frequently And Enjoy The Snacks And Food Of Their Choice.
Our Members Who Play Cards In The Card Room Are Fully Satisfied With The Facilities Provided To Them. For Their Conveniences We Have Provided Water Cooler & Ro Exclusively For Their Use. The Caterer Has Made Special Arrangement To Serve Them Of Their Choice And Has Employed A Captain To Look After Their Demand.
The Guest Rooms Built At 3rd Floor Are Mostly Occupied Where Indian And Foreign Guests Enjoy The Comfort And Other Facilities Available In The Club. In Pursuance And Fulfillment Of The Decision, Many Of Our Members Also Enjoy One Night Complementary Stay On Their Wedding Anniversary In The Guest Rooms Subject To Availability.
On Second Floor Where We Have Some Rooms For Holding Small Function And Meetings Are Generally Occupied. The Place Is Attracting Many People Who Hold Seminar And Business Meetings. On The Demand We Provide Sound System And Projector Also Against Payment.
The Members Who Have Organized Their Functions At Lawn And Pool Side Will Bear Testimony That They Were Exhilarating In The Open Environment Full Of Fragrance Akin To Farm House 'Banquet Hall'.
We Are Constantly In Touch With Some Clubs Where We Don't Have Reciprocity Mutual Affiliation And Are Hopeful That Positive Results Will Ensue. Many Clubs Are Also Approaching Us For Reciprocal Mutual Agreement And We Hope To Add More Clubs Located In The Country And Abroad Fulfilling Our Club Norms And Requirements. At Present, We Have Mutual Reciprocal Arrangement With Ninety Eight Clubs Of Our Country And Eighteen Clubs Of Foreign Countries, The Detailed List Is Uploaded On Our Web Site.
During Summer Our Members And Their Family Members Enjoy Rain Dances For Which We Have Made Our Own Equipments Of Double The Capacity What We Were Using Earlier Thus Saving Approximately Rupees 25,000/-- Each Time. For Your Information We Have Arranged Rain Dances Twice In The Month Of June, 2017 . Now We Can Arrange It As And When Our Member Desire For It.
From Last Agm To-Date 26 Managing Committee Meetings, 11 Catering Sub Committee Meeting, 10 Administrative Committee And 05 Visionary Sub Committees Meetings, Were Held. In The Said Meetings We Discuss Day To Day Problems And Resolve The Same And Also Take Remedial Measures And Steps To Further Improve The Existing Facilities. Our Sub-Committees Are Regularly Holding Meetings And Submit Their Suggestions To Managing Committee. The Same Are Deliberated Upon Threadbare And Such Of The Suggestions Which Find Approval Of The Managing Committee, Are Implemented.
It Is Unfortunate That On 02.05.2016 An Amount Of Rs. 5,17,820.00 Was Stolen From The Locker Of The Club. The Action As Per Law Was Initiated And Fir Bearing No. Wd - Jp 000205 Dated 03.05.2016 Was Registered With Police Station, Janak Puri. The Said Case Is Still Under Investigation And Partial Amount Of Rs. 2,58,910.00 Has Already Been Recovered From One Of The Delinquent Whereas The Other Also Undertook To Pay The Remaining Amount Of Rs. 2,58,910.00 But He Failed To Fulfill His Commitment And Adopted Dilly-Dally Tactics For Avoiding The Same. The Managing Committee Approached The Senior Police Officials, The Said Person Was Arrested And He Was Jailed. His Bail Application Was Dismissed By The Lower Court As Well As By The Sessions Court. We Understand That Now He Has Been Granted Bail And Regular Case Has Been Initiated.In This Matter Many Members Readily Came Forward And Helped Us. We Are Grateful To Them.
Our Members, Advocates S/Sh Ravi Chawla And Naresh Chander Sharma Are Pursuing The Said Case As Well As Helping The Managing Committee A Lot Not Only In The Theft Case But Also In Many Other Legal Matters. We Thank Them Profusely. Another Incident Also Took Place In The Month Of September 2016 When Our Accountant Mr. Satbirverma, Shri Amit Gulati, (Treasurer) Shri Ajay Kapoor And Shri Ajay Sharma M. C. Members And One Software Engineer Mr Malhotra Detected Swindling Some Funds And Found Involvement Of Three Staff Persons. All Misappropriated Amount Of Rs. 1,65,000/= Was Recovered From The Said Three Persons And Their Services Were Terminated. To Avoid Recurrence Of Such Incidents We Have Taken Concrete Steps And Installed Cctv Cameras To Observe And Record All Activities In The Club Premises. Our Respectable Member Shri K. S. Bhatnagar (Retd.), Acp Is Supervising The Security Of Club And Guiding Us To Avoid Such Incidence. Here We Would Like To Mention That Shri K. S. Bhatnagar Is Not Only Looking After Security, He Is Guiding Us To Be Prepared For Any Fire Incidence And Keeps Sharp Eyes On Fire Fighting System And All Around Security Of Club Including Card And Meeting Rooms. We Sincerely Thank Him.
In The Arbitration Case With The Ex Contractor M/S Crs Infra Projects Ltd. Is In Progress And The Club Is Being Represented By Our Advocate Smt. Savita Malhotra With The Active Assistance Of Shri V. P. Jolly Who Provides Minute Details And Record Pertaining To The Case.Our Members Are Availing Special Discount From Diagnosing Labs Of Star Imaging Lab And City X-Ray And Scan Clinic (Pvt) Ltd., Both Are Located In Tilak Nagar, New Delhi.
Adverting To Our Present Financial Position, It Is Heartening To Note That We Have Fdrs Of Rs. 1,74,78,657/= (Rupees One Core Seventy Four Lacs Seventy Eight Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Seven Only) With Our Bankers Sbi Rs 1,26,57,643/- And Icici Bank Rs. 46,21.104/-
During The Period, The Following Functions Were Organized For The Entertainment Of Our Members:-
(A) In The Last Year Opening Ceremony Of Swimming Pool Was Performed On 15.04.2016 And For The Current Season The Opening Ceremony Was Arranged On 16th April, 2017. In This Season The Pool Water Is Maintained Excellent Giving A Eye Catching Sight Like Blue Water Of Mediterranean Sea . Every Swimmer Is Appreciating It And Record Numbers Of Members And Their Guest Are Using It In The Morning And Evening Session Where More Than Two Hundred Members And Guest Use The Pool. We Have Made Special Arrangement For Coaching At Extra Time.
(B) Swimming Competition And Closing Ceremony For The Last Year Was Organized On 24.09.2016 Where Our Many Members Participated.
(C) Dr. Shrikant Kaushik And His Son And Daughter, Won The Races Like Previous Years In The Respective Age Group. It Is Worth Mentioning That Dr. Shrikant Was Organizer With The Co Operation Of Dr. T. M. Sharma, Both Are Members Of Our Club Who Are Great Lovers Of Games / Sports. They Were Assisted By Mr Dhal And His Son Mr Rishi Dhalwho Were Maintaining The Pool.
(D) The Pool Maintenance Contractor Mr Dhal And His Son Mr Rishidhal ( For The Year 2016 ) With His Team Of Life Guards Male And Female Performed Their Services Sincerely And Professionally. We Thank Them For Their Contribution And Congratulate Them For Maintaining High Standard Resulting Incidents Free Session.
(A) On 17.04.2016 We Organized Baishakhi Festival Where Musical Performance Was Given By Punjabi Kala Academy Artist.
(B) On 08.05.2016 Yoga Classes And Health Check Up Camp Was Organized Which Was Attended By Many Members And Their Guests.
(C) The Most Popular And Attractive Activities Of Our Club, “The Maha (Bumper) Tombola" Was Organized On 14th May’ 2016, 13thaugust’ 2016 , 23rd October’ 2016. And In Current Year On 27th May, 2017.
All The Maha Tombola Events Were Attended By A Large Numbers Of Members And Their Guests Where Attractive Prizes Were Awarded To The Winners. Our Members S/S B P Singh Sr Vice President, Rakesh Taneja, Ajay Sharma, Rakesh Chopra, Ajay Kapoor, Amit Gulati, And Satish Bhasin With The Support Of Office Staff Arranged The Game Successfully And Created A Record For Which The Management Profusely Thank Them.
(D) The Other Popular Activities Which Attract Large Numbers Of Young Children, Who Enjoy Rain Dances Which Were Organized On 21.05.2016, 11.06.2016 & 07.06.2017 & 23.06.2017. On All These Occasions, We Installed Large Screen To Facilitate The Guardian To Watch Their Children And Share Their Feelings On Delicious Food.
(E) On 29.05.2016 Our Members Enjoyed Ipl Match On Large Screen.
(F) On 26.06.2016 We Organized Welcome Ceremony For Newly Elected Mayor Shri Shyam Sharma Which Was Attended By Large Numbers Of Our Members And Representatives Of Many Social Organization Especially Janak Puri Dharmik And Samajik Maha Sangh.
(G) Our Member Dr. Ashok Thapa Organized Fitness Classes For Our Members Which Was Attended By Many Members.
(H) We Organized Musical Programme Also Based On Old Songs With The Theme ‘Old Is Gold’ By D. Paul Company On 18.07.2016, 07.12.2016 And 14.12.2016 Who Gave Spellbound Performances And Our Members Are Insisting To Arrange The Same Again And Again.
(I) Our Lady Forum Arranged Teez Festival On 05.08.2016 Where Artists From Punjabi Kala Academy Gave Their Performances To Entertain Our Members. They May Again Arrange It In The Current Year 2017.
(J) We Celebrated Independence Day On 15.08.2016 Which Was Attended By Many Members Where National Flag Was Unfurled And Refreshment Was Served And We Have Been Celebrating It Every Year.

(L) On 04.09.2016 The Aakash Health Care Organized Health Check Up Camp Members And Their Families Availed The Services.
(M) To Become A Part Of Green Revolution We Arranged Tree Plantation On 11.09.2016 In Which Acp And S. H. O. Of Janak Puri Police Station Participated.
(N) On 31.10.2016 We Joined Our Nation And Families Of Our Brave Jawans Who Gave Their Supreme Sacrifices For Defending Our Motherland And Our Safety. ‘Ek Diya Shahido Ke Naam’ Was Lighted Where Our Many Members And Staff Participated By Lighting Diya (Earthen Lamp) In The Main Lobby Of The Club.
(O) On 04.12.2016 The Medanta Group Organized Health Camp Providing Best Services To Our Members And General Public.
(P) We Celebrated Christmas On 25.12.2016 By Decorating Main Lobby With Beautiful Christmas Tree And Fancy Light And The Santa Clause Distributed Sweet / Toffees To Our Members And Children.
(Q) The New Year Was Celebrated With Pump And Show On The Intervening Night Of 31.12.2016 And 01.01.2017. Almost All Participants In Large Numbers Enjoyed It To Their Fill. The Function Went On Beyond Mid Night And Members Danced On Two Colourful Lighted Dancing Floors On Latest Numbers Played On High Voltage Dj Set Which Was Relayed On Two Screens Like “Chitarhar”. The Anchor Added More Colour With Her Sweet And Aggressive Voice. At 12 Night Grand Fire Work Reminded The Participants For Entering 2017 Bringing New Hopes And Dreams.
(R) To Follow The Tradition Lady Forum Organized Lohri On 11.01.2017 At Lawn Where Artist Of Punjabi Kala Academy Gave Their Performances.The Bhangra Was Main Attraction For Our Members And Their Guest. The Lady Forum Played Tombola Also And Distributed Prizes. On Lohri Day The 13th January, 2017 We Again Arranged Wood Fire And Distributed (Corn Flakes) Phulre, Revri And Moong Fali (Peanuts). We Also Celebrated Republic Day On 26th January, 2017 By Un Furling Our National Flag.
In The Current Year On 24.2.2017 We Arranged Musical Programmeby Famous Sterla Rose Artist Group. We Celebrated Baisakhi Also By Arranging Musical Programme Given By Tikku Singh.
As We Know We Have Our Own Projector Where We Show Iplmatches , And The Final Held On 21.5.17, Icc Champion Trophy Final On 18.6.17 And On 30.6.17 Blenders Pride Presented Models A Unique Show First Time In Our Club
Our Chartered Accountant M/S Bhupinder Shah & Co Who Is Associated With Us From The Day Of Inception Of Club Has Been Guiding Us In All Financial And Taxation Matter. On The Popular Demand Of Our Members We Have Appointed A New Caterer M/S Cafe -9, Who Are Providing Catering Services From 1.5.2017. For Your Information There Is No Change In Menu Rates In Our Restaurants And Party Hall. On Our Request They Shall Be Introducing More Items Of Snacks And Dishes Shortly.
